HIGHLAND RAMBLER 40 R 3C Goldring
1 - 4 C1 dance towards each other and cast off one place; C2 step up on bars 3-4
5 - 8 C1 and C3 right hands across; W1 remain facing out
9 - 12 C1 and C2 left hands across; C1 finish facing womens' side
13 - 16 W1 followed by M1 cast up around W2, dance down middle to finish W1 between C3 and M1 between C2, all facing down
17 - 24 In lines of three, dance down, turn right about and all dance up. C1 remain facing up.
25 - 28 M1 followed by W1 cast off one place on womans' side to finish in 2nd place own sides; on bar 28 M1 pulls back right shoulder to face partner

SWIRLING SNOW 32 S 3C

1 - 8 C1 cross giving RH, cast off one place (C2 step up), dance down between C3 and cast up to 2nd place, opposite sides.
9 - 12 All 3 couples half turn and twirl to change places.
13 - 16 All 3 couples turn with right hands into allemande hold, C2 and C3 facing down and C1 facing up in 2nd place.
17 - 24 3 couple circulating allemande.
25 - 28 C1 dance a half figure of 8 up between C3.
29 - 32 C3, C1, and C2 turn partners with both hands one and a half times to own sides. Finish in order 3, 1, 2.
ST. ANDREW'S OF BRAMPTON 32 R 4C (4C set) Bk 37#5
1 - 4 C1 cross RH and cast off to 2nd place while C4 cross RH and cast up to 3rd place (C2 step up and C3 step down on 3-4).
5 - 8 C1 and C4 dance RH across once round and retaining hold of RH, prepare to join LH with C2 and C3 so that all are facing clockwise around the set.
9 - 12 All dance, in a double wheel, ½ way round the set to finish with C3 in 1st place and C2 in 4th place on opposite sides.C4 and C1 finish in the middle facing out diagonally. (C4 in 2nd place facing C3 and C1 in 3rd place facing C2).
13 - 16 All set and change places LH. C3 and C2 join RH across the centre and C1 and C4 make "polite turns" to reform the double wheel, all facing clockwise.
17 - 20 All dance halfway round the set to finish C1 in 1st place, C4 in 4th place on opposite sides. C2 and C3 stay in the middle facing out diagonally.
21 - 24 All set and change places M1, W2, M3 and W4 RH, while W1, M2, W3 and M4 use LH. C2 finish in 1st place and C3 in 4th place in the side lines. C1 finish in 2nd place nearer hands joined facing up, while C4 finish in 3rd place nearer hands joined facing down.
25 - 28 C1 dance up between C2 and cast off to 2nd place, while C4 dance down between C3 and cast up to 3rd place on opposite sides.
29 - 32 C1 and C4 dance ½ R and L.

17 - 24 C1 repeat bars 1-8 dancing up the set to original places.

9 - 16 RS reels of 3 on own sides with C2 and C3. C2, C1, C3 finish in promenade hold facing up.
17 - 24 C2, C1, C3 promenade. C1 finish in second place, facing up with nearer hands joined. C2 cast to face down in 1st place and C3 face up.
25 - 32 C2 and C3 dance rights and lefts (start by changing places RH along the sidelines) while C1 dance figures of 8 on own side.
GOTHENBURG'S WELCOME 32 J 3C Bk 37#3
1 - 4 C1 cast off one place, then set advancing to finish back to back facing 1st corners. C2 step up on 1 and 2.
5 - 16 Dancers in middle and at 1st corner positions change places RS, 1st corner dancers pass RS and face right to 2nd corner positions; meanwhile, 2nd corner dancers set.
Dancers in middle and at 2nd corner positions change places RS, 2nd corner dancers pass RS and face right to 1st corner positions; meanwhile 1st corner dancers set. Repeat twice more (half of Marigold figure).
C1 finish facing 1st corners who are on opposite sides.
17 - 24 C1 dance half reel of four with 1st corners, pass partner RS, and dance half reel of four with 2nd corners, finish LS to LS in the middle facing opposite sides.
25 - 32 C1 dance RH across (W1 with C2, M1 with C3), and all three couples turn partner RH once round.
THE MINISTER ON THE LOCH 32 S 3C (3C Set) Goldring
1 - 8 C1 and C2 dance the all-round poussette.
9 - 16 C1 dance down for two steps, turn once round both hands for two steps, dance up for two steps and turn once round both hands for two steps to finish in the centre facing up.
17 - 24 C1 and C3 double figures of eight. C1 cast off C3 cross up to begin. C1 finish in original place facing out.
25 - 28 M1 and M2 turn 1½ times LH while W1 and W2 turn 1½ times RH. C1 is now in second place facing in.
29 - 32 M1 and M3 turn 1½ times RH while W1 and W3 turn 1½ times LH. C1 is now in third place.
MAIRI'S WEDDING 40 R 3C Cosh
1 - 8 C1 turn RH once round, cast off one place (C2 step up), and turn LH to face 1st corner.
9 - 24 C1 dance four continuous half reels of four, with 1st corners, with 2nd corners, with 1st corners (from opposite side) and with 2nd corners (from opposite side).
25 - 32 Reels of three across the dance, M1 giving left shoulder to W3, W1 giving left shoulder to M2 to begin.
33 - 40 C2, C1 and C3 dance six hands round and back.

25 - 26 W1 change places LH with W2. M1 change places RH with M2.
27 - 32 W1 and W3 turn RH 1 ½ times while M1 and M3 turn LH 1 ½ times to finish with C1 in 3rd place. C3 finish in 2nd place facing out ready for double figure of eight.
